Kumamoto Univ., Boeing to study Mg alloy's use to plane

KUMAMOTO, Japan - Yoshihito Kawamura, a materials science professor at Kumamoto University, announces in Kumamoto, southwestern Japan, on Oct. 23, 2014, that the national university sealed an agreement with Boeing Co. of the U.S. on joint studies on the application of a university-developed magnesium alloy in aircraft bodies.
