Foster family facility opened in northeastern Japan

SENDAI, Japan - The Children's Village Tohoku, a facility for foster families in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture, opens on Dec. 19, 2014, to accept children who lost their parents in the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster that hit the northeastern Japan region of Tohoku as well as those unable to live with their parents.
