Japan Post to hike parcel delivery rates by 12%

TOKYO, Japan, Sept. 5 Kyodo - Kunio Yokoyama, president of Japan Post Co., speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on Sept. 5, 2017. The company said it will raise basic shipping fees for its door-to-door parcel delivery service by an average 12 percent from March 2018 as labor costs continue to climb due to a courier shortage.
