Miyazaki gov. congratulates Tomoji Tanabe as world's oldest man

MIYAZAKI, Japan - Miyazaki Gov. Hideo Kigashikokubaru (L) calls on Tomoji Tanabe (R), the world's oldest man at age 111, at his home in Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture on Sept. 11 to congratulate him for being officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest man. Tanabe, who received the Guinness certificate in June, will mark his 112th birth on Sept. 18.
