(2)Ministers complete fine-tuning FY 2005 budget

TOKYO, Japan - Finance Minister Sadakazu Tanigaki (3rd from R) is in talks with Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Minister Yoshinobu Shimamura (3rd from L) on reinstating budget spending cuts at the Finance Ministry on Dec. 22. Cabinet ministers completed fine-tuning an 82,182.9 billion yen draft state budget for fiscal 2005, paving the way for its approval as the government's budget plan at a Cabinet meeting on Dec. 24.
