Crown Princess Masako skips New Year's greetings meeting at Imperial Palace

TOKYO, Japan - Crown Princess Masako waves to reporters as she and her daughter Princess Aiko enter the Imperial Palace in central Tokyo by car on Jan. 1 to greet Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.
