Japan economy minister comments on GDP

TOKYO, Japan - Satoshi Arai, Japanese economic and fiscal policy minister, speaks at a press conference in Tokyo on Aug. 16, 2010, after the government announced the economy grew an annualized real 0.4 percent in the April-June quarter. ''The latest data show the economy continued to steadily pick up,'' Arai said.
