After the tunneling kicked off, the project undertaken by a Chinese company entered a new stage. After completion, the traffic jam in the Israeli metropolis will be greatly reduced." The project, undertaken by China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), is expected to complete in 2025. A 5.7-km-long double-lane tunnel, two access sections, one underground station as well as three underground structures will be built under the project.
