The event is part of the 13th Spring Festival Joint Exhibition of Chinese Books in Global Overseas Chinese Bookstores, which is being held in 85 physical bookstores in 27 countries and regions. Most of the participants were students majoring in Chinese from the Higher Language Institute of the University of Carthage in Tunisia. Through short video clips, prize-winning quizzes, writing Chinese "Fu" character, paper-cutting and other activities, the event allowed Tunisian students to experience the culture of the Chinese New Year.
