The concert was preluded by traditional and ethnic garment show of China by dozens of models, glowing with splendor. The performance was held at the Catherine Assembly. The site also hosted an exhibition of Chinese art, with over 30 pieces of drawings, sculptures and calligraphy. The works were from 12 Chinese artists. This year is the 9th year that St. Petersburg celebrates Chinese New Year. The Palace Bridge here was illuminated in red in celebration.
