The 170-km-long project will pass through Bangladesh's largest Padma Bridge. The bridge, which opened to traffic in June last year, was also built by a Chinese enterprise. The 684th span concrete simple-supported box girder and all viaduct segment box girders of the project were completed on Jan. 25, marking a major milestone of the construction progress. SOUNDBITE 1
