China ruling party's No. 2 leader Li Qiang elected premier
Chinese President Xi Jinping casts his ballot in a vote to elect the country's premier during the plenary session of the National People's Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on March 11, 2023. Li Qiang, a close ally of Xi and ranked No. 2 in the ruling Communist Party's apex of power, was elected premier, replacing Li Keqiang.
