China ruling party's No. 2 leader Li Qiang elected premier

Li Qiang, a close ally of Chinese President Xi Jinping and ranked No. 2 in the ruling Communist Party's apex of power, casts his ballot in a vote to elect the country's premier during the plenary session of the National People's Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on March 11, 2023. Li was elected premier, replacing Li Keqiang.
