The infrared cameras have captured multiple video clips of some endangered species including forest musk deer, golden pheasant, and the Chinese goral, which are under state protection in China. The number of the forest musk deers has increased to over 40 in Xuebaoshan, according to the staff of the nature reserve. The rare deer is listed as endangered by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List of Threatened Species. Xinhua News Agency correspondents reporting from Chongqing, China.
