Reduviid nymphs (in subfamilies Salyavatinae, Triatominae, Cetherinae, Reduviinae) found in forests in Southeast Asia region, Camouflage themselves by attaching debris or remains of dead prey insects. Their ''backpacks'' function helps to deter and camouflage from predators. The Reduviidae are members of the suborder Heteroptera of the order Hemiptera. The family members are almost all predatory, except for a few blood-sucking species, some of which are important as disease vectors.           A female Purple Sunbird is currently building a nest in Tehatta, West Bengal, India, as observed on May 25, 2024. The Purple Sunbird (Cinnyris asiaticus) is a small bird, measuring about 10 centimeters, in the sunbird family. It is found mainly in South and Southeast Asia, but its range extends west into parts of the Arabian Peninsula. Like other sunbirds, they feed mainly on nectar, though they also consume insects, especially when feeding their young. Purple Sunbirds have a fast and direct flight and can take nectar by hovering like hummingbirds, though they often perch at the base of flowers. Males can appear all black in harsh sunlight, but their purple iridescence is visible on closer inspection or under good light conditions. Females are olive above and yellowish below.
