61st Edition of the Medieval Festival of Hita (Guadalajara)

Several people in character at the 61st edition of the Medieval Festival of Hita, July 1, 2023, in Hita, Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha (Spain). The highlight of the festival is the palenque tournament and a theatrical performance, in addition to other activities such as a medieval flea market or birds of prey exhibition. This year, the chosen staging is Leonor de Aquitania by Alfredo Cernuda, which takes place on a stage set up in the ruins of the Church of San Pedro. The festival is of National Tourist Interest.
