Some forty boats parade along the Seine between the Pont d'Austerlitz and the Pont d’Iena to test the maneuvers, distances and duration of the future opening ceremony on July 17, 2023. The 2024 summer Olympics in Paris will mark the first time an opening ceremony has not been held inside a stadium, instead, the extravaganza will unfold along the River Seine, with spectators lining streets and bridges in the heart of the French capital.
