The vehicle was passing by a densely populated area in the provincial capital of Peshawar when it was attacked, a non-government rescue organization Edhi Foundation said. Revealing initial investigation, police sources who cordoned off the site following the explosion told Xinhua that a suicide bomber blew himself up near the vehicle, injuring the troops and passersby. However, the police did not officially confirm the nature of the attack yet.
