Tourism Minister Thong Khon, also president of the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC), said the annual event was designed to attract more tourists to the Angkor park during the rainy season. "Most of the overseas participants were Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese," he told reporters, adding that there were four categories: full marathon (42km), half marathon (21km), and a 10km race, as well as a 3km fun run.
