STORYLINE:
A Chinese research project on the potato cultivation has benefited farmers from the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) countries through diverse cooperation, including academic exchanges, collaborative research, and technology transfer.
The research team with China's Southwest University has successfully developed a rapid detection kit for potato virus, which has been introduced to more than 10 BRI countries and helped improve the potato production.
