The study examined the experience of more than 18,000 students who were in year 10 - the final year of compulsory education in Australia where students are typically aged 15-16 - at 300 schools across the country in 2022. It found that 52 percent of year 10 students in 2022 said their learning suffered as a result of the pandemic and that 59 percent said they did not feel prepared for school in 2022.
