Demonstartion In Support Of Gaza Held In Toulouse

Hundreds of people are demonstrating in Toulouse, France, on January 13, 2024, in support of Gazans, the Gaza Strip, and more broadly for Palestine. They are protesting against the complete blockade imposed by Israel on the Gaza Strip since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th, which has resulted in a lack of water, food, electricity, fuel, medicines, and at times, communication with the outside world. South Africa has pleaded in the International Justice Court against Israel for not preventing a genocide in Gaza, with more than 80 countries supporting South Africa's case. The UN estimates that up to 2 million people in the Gaza Strip, or more than 85% of the population, have been forced to flee due to Israel's devastating bombing campaign. Despite Israel's military continuing to bomb the south of the Strip and ordering civilians to leave northern areas of Gaza, none of the hospitals in the north of the Gaza Strip are fully functional.
