        18.03.2024, Tallinn. Minister of Justice Kalle Laanet and Prosecutor General Andres Parmas were summoned to Security Authorities Surveillance Select Committee in Riigikogu. The Central Criminal Police has launched a misdemeanor procedure against Kalle Laanet, who stepped down as Estonia's minister of justice on the weekend. Also last week the quarrel between the two men was reported in the media. Parmas accused Laanet of interfering in the Prosecutor's Office's work and said he had been pressured to resign.
