At Least 9 Workers Trapped After Landslide At Gold Mine - Turkey

Search and rescue teams from neighbouring provinces and cities continue to work at the mine site on February 13, 2024 in in Ilic district of Erzincan, Turkey. Nine mine workers went missing on Tuesday after a landslide hit an open goldmine in the Ilic district of Erzincan province in Turkey. Hundreds of rescue workers are engaged in a search operation currently that authorities say is complicated by the presence of cyanide in the soil.
