Freight ships are sailing along the Huai'an section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal in Jiangsu Province, China, on February 16, 2024. During the Spring Festival holiday, the ten cascaded ship locks on the Northern Jiangsu Canal have opened 5,979 times, releasing 832 fleets and 10,657 freighters, with a total shipping volume of 32.64 million tons. The cargo volume is 4.66 million tons, including 1.89 million tons of coal and 620,000 tons of mining and building materials, through containers 8738TEU, marking an increase of 117.1%.
