Indonesia: Strong Earthquakes Strike Off East Java 9
A very strong earthquake struck in the Java Sea on Friday morning, March 22 at 11:22 a.m. local time.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS) website, the magnitude was 5.6 and the epicenter was located some 118 kilometers northeast of Paciran, East Java Province.
Another earthquake occurred at about 3:52 p.m. and was magnitude 6.4., according to USGS.
