Dignified Transfer Of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller At Jamaica Hospital

The body of NYPD Officer Jonathan Diller is being brought out of Jamaica Hospital for the dignified transfer. Officer Diller, who was fatally shot while conducting a vehicle stop, is receiving a dignified transfer at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York, on March 25, 2024. Officer Diller was conducting a vehicle stop at 1919 Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway, Queens, before 6 p.m. when a suspect fired a weapon, striking him in the stomach. Another officer returned fire, hitting the suspect in the back. Officer Diller was rushed to Jamaica Hospital but succumbed to his gunshot wound injuries.
