A young Iranian saleswoman is assisting two women in looking at dresses while they shop at the Hijab and Chastity fair in the Imam Khomeini Grand Mosque in downtown Tehran, Iran, on March 28, 2024. Amir Hossein Bankipour, a Member of the Iranian Parliament from Isfahan and a member of the Cultural Commission, stated on the ''Ofogh TV program'' that after the Nowruz (Iranian New Year) holidays, women who do not wear a hijab will not be fined by the police; instead, 30,000,000 Rials (approximately 49 USD) will be automatically deducted from their personal bank accounts.
