Israel: Thousands Join Protests Demanding Ceasefire Deal And PM Netanyahu’s Resignation

Thousands of Israelis joined protest in Tel Aviv on Saturday night, May 4. The demonstrators demanded Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to accept a ceasefire agreement with Hamas in return of hostages in Gaza. There were still more than 130 hostages in captivity. These protesters also called for the resignation of PM Netanyahu and new elections, accusing him keeping himself in power by continuing the conflict.
