US: Pro-Palestine Protests At George Washington University And Outside President’s House
Pro-Palestine protests continued at George Washington University with encampment set up for the 13th day on Tuesday, May 7. On the same night, these protesters also marched down to University President Ellen Granberg's house for their unmet requests, including protecting pro-Palestinian speech on campus, receiving full disclosure of university endowments and investments, and divesting all funds related to Israel-based academic partnerships.
According to reports, The Metropolitan Police Department cleared out the encampment on campus and arrested 30 on early Wednesday.
The video owner said that the MPD was making their first of at least three warnings before arresting protesters.
