The local government officials have sounded an alert after bird flu cases were detected at a state-run poultry farm in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand. According to officials, so far 920 poultry birds, including 770 ducks, have been culled at a poultry farm in Morabadi area by the rapid response personnel of the Animal Husbandry Department.
