Gabriel House Fire
Activities at the Gabriel House assisted living facility following a fire at the which resulted in the deaths of nine people and over thirty individuals including fire fighters sustaining injuries in Fall River, Massachusetts, United States on Monday, July 14, 2025. Nine people were pronounced deceased and one other person is in critical condition. More than 30 others were transported to local and regional hospitals in varying conditions. Five firefighters were transported for injuries that were not life-threatening. About 70 people resided at the facility prior to the fire. A family notification center has been set up at the chapel of St. Anne’s Hospital nearby. The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation. Heavy damage is seen including shoes and debris following the multiple fatal fire. A memorial with flowers is setup in front of the assisted living facility as loved ones mourn.
