India: Plane Takes Off Amid Dense Fog at Delhi Airport
Dense fog over the past several days has continued to disrupt air and rail travel across parts of India, with conditions peaking on Monday, December 29, when Delhi’s IGI Airport saw 128 flight cancellations, dozens of delays, and several diversions as visibility dropped to around 125 meters.
Fog has affected airports across north and eastern India and delayed many trains, prompting weather authorities to issue orange alerts for Delhi-NCR and nearby states and warn of continued disruption into the New Year.
This video was filmed from inside a plane taking off from Delhi’s IGI Airport amid dense fog on December 29, 2025.
