China: Man Rescues Drowning Labrador Using Zip Tie Loop

On Wednesday, September 16, a man in Guilin, Guangxi, stood on a riverbank and tried several ways to reach a Labrador struggling in the water. After his earlier attempts failed, he linked zip ties into a large loop and lowered it toward the dog. He adjusted the loop repeatedly until it was secured around the dog, then pulled the exhausted Labrador to the bank and lifted it onto dry ground.
