Kansai Electric Power Honorary Chairman Ashihara dies at 102

TOKYO, Japan - Yoshishige Ashihara (file photo), honorary chairman of Kansai Electric Power Co., died of pneumonia July 12 at an Osaka hospital, his family said. He was 102. Ashihara also served as chairman of the Kansai Economic Federation from 1966 to 1977.
