As the Kyushu Shinkansen Line fully opened between Hakata and Kagoshima-Chuo on March 12, bullet train services will link Aomori at the northern tip of the Honshu main island, and Kagoshima at the southern tip of the southwestern main island of Kyushu, for the first time.
