Albright meets Chinese President in Beijing

U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright meets with Chinese President Jiang Zemin in Beijing on March 2. Albright arrived in Bejing on Feb. 28 on the first leg a three-nation Asian visit. She will also travel to Indonesia and Thailand. The main purpose of Albright's visit to China is to lay the groundwork for Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji's scheduled U.S. trip in April.
