US: Canadian Vessel Manitoulin Freed From Lake Erie Ice

The Manitoulin, a 663-foot Canadian vessel with 17 people on board, became stuck in the ice on Lake Erie on Wednesday, January 22, after encountering surface ice. A U.S. Coast Guard icebreaking ship began working to free the vessel on Thursday and successfully released it from the ice on Saturday.
