World's 2nd calf born using sperm of cloned bull

OITA, Japan - A female calf born Oct. 19 from a cow that had been impregnated with the sperm of a cloned bull lies besides her mother at the Oita Prefectural Institute of Animal Industry. The birth is seen as a second for Japan and probably the world. The first was a male calf born Oct. 4 in Kagoshima Prefecture.
