Kurdish man, family fight deportation order in court

TOKYO, Japan - Zilan, 3-year-old daughter of Taskin, a Kurdish man, and his Filipino wife Beltran, appears at a press conference in Tokyo on March 12 with lawyer Takeshi Ohhashi after Ohhashi, acting on behalf of the three, filed a lawsuit at the Tokyo District Court seeking a reversal of the Justice Ministry's decision to deport them for overstaying their visas.
