Minister Endo admits farm group misconduct, rules out resignatio

TOKYO, Japan - New farm minister Takehiko Endo ponders before replying to a media question during a press conference at his ministry on Sept. 1. Endo admitted that a farmers' mutual aid association headed by him has received 1.15 million yen from the state illegally but said he has no intention of resigning from the ministerial post over the matter.
