New robot mimics movements of traditional 'bunraku' puppets
Renowned Japanese "bunraku" puppeteer Kiritake Kanjuro (back) and his kimono-clad puppet pose with a prototype robot designed to mimic bunraku puppets' bodily movements at a press conference in Osaka, western Japan, on March 16, 2015.
