Atomic bombing-related materials, collected by the late Shogo Nagaoka, who served as the first director of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, are shown to the press on May 28, 2015, before their transfer to the museum. The Nagaoka family donated nearly 12,000 items to the museum "not to waste my father's efforts," said Nagaoka's second son Renji (C). (Kyodo)
