R. Attlee, Lord Privy Seal, and Mr Anthony Eden, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs. Formed by the Prime Minister himself in May 1940, the War Cabinet since that time was solely responsible of the conduct of the war at home and overseas. Date: 1941
