Anne Frank's secret annex recreated at holocaust museum in Hiros

HIROSHIMA, Japan - The Holocaust Education Center in Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture, unveils to the press on Sept. 29 a recreated room of the Amsterdam house where Anne Frank and her family hid from the Nazis and wrote her famous diary. The center, established in 1995 by pastor Makoto Otsuka (2nd from right), who was inspired by his meeting with Anne's father Otto, will open the room to the public beginning on Oct. 2. (Kyodo)
