Japan sees 1st private-sector mail delivery since 1873
NAGOYA, Japan - Workers at Japanese freight company Tokai Messenger Bb prepare to deliver mail in Nagoya on June 1, the same day the company launched mail delivery services. The company became the first from the private-sector to take part in postal services that have been controlled by the state for 130 years, as part of Japan's privatization efforts.
