Optional parts for Prius to power appliances
NAGOYA, Japan - Photo shows Toyota Motor Corp.'s Prius hybrid car. The automaker said on Oct. 22, 2012, it has started selling power outlets as optional parts for the Prius, enabling owners to power home alliances using the vehicle's rechargeable battery in the event of a blackout.
