Abuse allegations against Japan judo coach
TOKYO, Japan - All Japan Judo Federation Chairman Haruki Uemura bows after a press conference at the Kodokan in Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward on Jan. 30, 2013, over allegations that 15 of the federation's top female athletes were subjected to harassment and physical violence by head coach Ryuji Sonoda and other coaching staff. Uemura said that Sonoda will continue his duties as head coach since "he is repentant."
