Brewer Asahi posts record net profit for 12th straight year

TOKYO, Japan - Naoki Izumiya, president of Asahi Group Holdings Ltd., holds a press conference in Tokyo on Feb. 13, 2013. Asahi said the brewer's consolidated net profit for the business year through Dec. 31 rose 3.8 percent from the year before to 57.18 billion yen, marking an all-time high for the 12th straight year.
