Osaka Gas unveils emergency power supply backup system

OSAKA, Japan - An Osaka Gas Co. official explains to the press in Kobe on Feb. 26, 2014, the company's newly developed emergency power supply backup system that can generate electricity with liquefied petroleum gas even if both city gas and power supplies are disrupted during disasters. The company aims to sell the heat pump system mainly to small offices, hospitals and factories.
